Your family can enter the aquarium with you, but will not be able to attend the luncheon or scientific session. You will be free to join them at 2:00 pm, after the program. There is a large food court at the Aquarium for your family to enjoy.

All our RSVP guests will be provided with FREE covered parking in the Georgia Aquarium lot. You will enter through the private Oceans Ballroom entrance.

The setting for this event is the irresistible Oceans Ballroom in the Georgia Aquarium. One entire wall of the ballroom looks into the Beluga Whale aquarium, a private viewing of truly beautiful animals that come right up to the glass to look at you.

A hot luncheon by Wolfgang Puck will be provided followed by lectures on VATS Lobectomy. Following lunch and the scientific session, you will be provided with a free pass to the Aquarium, which will remain open until 6 pm.

You may choose to meet your family in the Aquarium area, or they may meet you at the ballroom at 2 pm.

WellStar Health System is accredited by the Medical Association of Georgia to provide continuing medical education for physicians. WellStar Health System designates this educational activity for a maximum of 2 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits(s)™.

Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Discounted Family Tickets ::

We have reserved the right to obtain a limited number of discounted tickets for family members of conference attendees. Tickets are $14.50 + 8% tax per person for adults and children over two years old. Children under the age of two receive free admission. Purchase tickets by calling 770-956-STAR no later than August 7. Credit card is the only form of payment accepted. (If discount tickets are no longer available, we can still guarantee admission at retail price of $20.50 + 8% tax if reserved before August 7. We require this early reservation because the Aquarium sells out three weeks ahead on weekends.)

Ticket Pick Up ::

Aquarium tickets will be available for pick up at the registration table located just outside Oceans Ballroom entrance.  Do not purchase tickets from the main entrance ticket booths if you have already made reservations through 956-STAR. Family members can enter the main aquarium through the Oceans Ballroom entrance while you attend the conference. Family members will not be admitted to the luncheon or lectures. After 2 p.m., you are welcome to join your family and tour the aquarium until 6 p.m.

To find the Oceans Ballroom Entrance follow these instructions. Upon arrival at the front
of the Georgia Aquarium, drive past the front entrance and turn right on Luckie Street.  Turn right again on Simpson to enter the parking deck at the Oceans Ballroom entrance. The Oceans Ballroom entrance is available from the Luckie Street parking deck. Follow the signs to the Oceans Ballroom entrance.
